Melbourne suffered a shock 18-15 loss to the New Zealand Warriors at home in last week’s qualifying final. A win would have given the Storm safe passage into next week’s preliminary final. The Brisbane Broncos scored an impressive 24-16 win over the Sydney Roosters at the Sydney Football Stadium. The win earned them the right to a home semi-final at Suncorp Stadium. FAST FACTS

In just his second season of NRL, Folau has already scored 35 tries and kicked five goals in his 49 games so far. He’s also won a premiership, was named in the 2007 World XIII, played for both Queensland and Australia (the youngest player in Test history to do so), and won the Dally M Rookie-of-the-Year Award in 2007.
